If you pack smartly, you can snuggly fit 2 DSLR bodies, three lenses and a flash, allowing you to pack for a full day. Screen Shot 2014-11-13 at 9.47.40 AM The crushproof hard box was tested under the weight of five different males each taking their turn standing on the hard case for 5 minutes while standing and jumping on the hard case. The combined weight of the five males topped 1000 pounds and the case held firm while the camera gear was undisturbed in the interior. The interior of the hard case is soft creating a scratchproof interior that keeps your gear protected against rough movements and falls one could experience while skiing, riding motorcycles or skateboarding. The interior also dries quickly if you happen to leave the watertight zippers open and the interior becomes wet.

Freewaters The Freewater collection has definitely grown in the past few years, but they have a very specific line due to the company watching sales and their analyzing their buyers then realizing very core specific styles that fit who their buyers are. The Canada Goose Hybridge Lite jacket, provides the first layer of warmth on the coldest of winter days and the right amount of breathability and warmth when worn solo on a sunny spring day of riding. Using their proprietary blend of premium down, the Canada Goose Hybridge Lite jacket is rated to 5 degrees. Using body-contouring heat mapping, the down is placed in strategic places to maintain maximum heat trapping within the body. Tested in Utah, among the differing mountain resorts, and with a body sensor strapped to the chest, the Canada Goose Hybridge Lite jacket, worn solo, held core body warmth for five hours with the core degree only falling one degree every hour in cold temperatures below 32 degrees. In temperatures between 32-45 degrees the jacket held the core temperature to a 0.3-degree reduction. _DSC8125

Optic Nerve Boreas Inversion goggle review

Rating:

Unless you live or are from the East Coast, where it is popular to wear sunglasses over your eyes and goggles on your forehead providing maximum sun protection for your knit beanie, a good pair of goggles can make the difference during your day on the slopes. Introducing the Optic Nerve Boreas Inversion goggle.

The key feature of the Boreas Inversion goggle is the spherical lens that increases the peripheral vision of the goggle allowing increased on hill viability reducing the traditional goggle blind spot you can experience with other goggles. A peripheral sight measurement was used, and when measured against other goggles, the Boreas Inversion goggle increases the peripheral vision by 8 degrees. While that number may seem low, 8 degrees is the equivalent of 4.6 inches, giving you an 8-inch increase of on hill visibility. Increased visibility = increased safety.

The Boreas Inversion goggle is built with triple density foam, designed for maximum fit and comfort, but it also serves as weather protection. The density of the foam provides a water resistant layer around the face, while providing breathability to prevent the goggle from fogging up. We tested the Boreas Inversion goggle for its breathability and potential to fog up by using a spray bottle to mist the face and goggle to simulate rain and wet snow conditions.

Syck Trix: An evolution of board performance

Rating:

Are gas prices getting too high and you’re considering a skateboard for quick easy transportation around town? But you’re worried you’ll look silly because you can’t balance on the board? Are you a parent with a child who is trying to learn new tricks constantly putting on bandages from scrapes and bruises and wish there was an easier way to learn? Are you already a skater but would like to increase your core power and get into better shape? Syck Trix out of San Clemente, California have developed a patented new simple solution to all of the above problems or questions. Syck Trix has taken a standard skateboard and placed highly durable inflatable rubber tubes within a fabric material allowing you to learn to Ollie the board, learn proper balance and give you an added dimension to your workout increasing core balance and strength. The board is designed to teach a new skater how to pop, shove, flip or Ollie the board while being able to learn from within the home where the falls do not hurt as much. The board is a traditional board so you will get the natural feel of where you need to place your foot on the board for the eventual time when you transition back to a board with wheels. The rubber tubing system attached underneath allow for the body to learn how to release the board from the ground and gives you a softer landing so your legs can adjust to how they need to compact to absorb the impact. _DSC7303 The system is very well designed and so simple, giving you dimensions needed to learn easily, but not so complex that you lose the core focus on how the trick feels on a board with wheels. The rubber tubing used is a high grade A rated rubber tube generally used in inflatable tires.
